Madagascar Specific Risk of Coronavirus (COVID-19)
16 Jul 2020
As of 15 July 2020, Madagascan Government (in French) has reported 262 new confirmed cases of coronavirus (COVID-19). Due to the increase in cases over the past two weeks, limited testing capacity for the population size and epidemic intelligence indicating the health system is struggling to cope, the risk level for travellers is increased.
The risk for travellers to Madagascar has now changed from a moderate to high risk of exposure to COVID-19.
Please check the fitfortravel Madagascar page regularly for updates on any changes to the risk of exposure to COVID-19.
