Greece Country Specific Risk of Coronavirus (COVID-19)

This country has reported a recent increase in case numbers of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on the islands of Lesvos, Tinos, Serifos, Mykonos, Crete, Santorini and Zakynthos (Zante).
Following a review of the public health risk assessment process, travel to these islands has now changed from a moderate risk to a high risk of exposure to COVID-19.

Advice for Travellers:
There is a high risk of exposure to coronavirus (COVID-19) on the Greek islands of Lesvos, Tinos, Serifos, Mykonos, Crete, Santorini and Zakynthos (Zante).
- You are advised to avoid non-essential travel to Lesvos, Tinos, Serifos, Mykonos, Crete, Santorini or Zakynthos (Zante).
There is a moderate risk of exposure to coronavirus (COVID-19) in all other areas of Greece, including the mainland:
- You are advised to consider avoiding non-essential travel to these areas of Greece if you are at an increased risk of severe COVID-19.
