Canary Islands (Spain) Specific Risk of Coronavirus (COVID-19)

There has been in an increase in case numbers of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on the Canary Islands.

Following a review of the public health risk assessment process, this part of the country has now changed from a moderate to a high risk of exposure to COVID-19.

Advice for Travellers

On the mainland of Spain there is a high risk of exposure to coronavirus (COVID-19) and local healthcare capacity may be severely impacted.

On the Canary Islands, there is also a high risk of exposure to coronavirus (COVID-19). You should consider:
